You know that Bea Arthur portrayed Vera Charles on Broadway with Angela Landsbury playing Mame. Bea Arthur I think stole the film she was hysterical. The Jerry Herman score is terrific too. There is not a bad song in the film or show. I do remember seeing this version in the movie theater not too far from my house with my grandparents. That was back in 1974.

Singing Cher's "If I could Turn Back Time" I would for a day and go see some of my favorite movies with family. Bea can be a scene stealer, can't she?
